THIS IS A CRITICAL ALERT: Microsoft officially ended support for Windows 7 on January 14, 2020, and Windows XP April 8, 2014. Your computer will still work, but your OS will no longer receive software and critical security updates from Microsoft which makes your cutting system more vulnerable to security threats with no technical support to fix them. Microsoft is strongly recommending users upgrade their cutting system OS to Windows 10.
Jet Edge issues recommended equipment updates through the use of Technical Bulletins. In order to keep your equipment safely operating at all times, it is strongly recommended that updates be implemented in a timely manner.

The end of life for the Windows 7 Operating System was January 14th, 2020 and the end of life for the Windows XP Operating System was April 8th, 2014. Microsoft will no longer provide security updates and technical support for these operating systems. If your PC Hardware fails, you will be required to upgrade to a Windows 10 Operating System and may experience downtime.

- Click the Start Button
- Type “winver” in the search box and press Enter
- You should see the About Windows box with your Windows version information

The full Windows 10 upgrade includes the replacement of your current system PC with a new solid state drive PC, preloaded with Windows 10 software. Depending upon the PC installed in your current controller, other options to upgrade may be available. The upgrade can be performed by a qualified maintenance technician or a Jet Edge service Technician will arrange to do the install at your site.
Windows 10 Software updates are required to ensure your operating system is supported and that the most recent security patches are installed. Additional benefits include:
