PURPOSE

The new Permalign Arrow SL, 5-Axis AbrasiveJet assembly has performed incredibly well in field trials and is replacing the current Permalign Edge AbrasiveJet Assembly on all new Mid Rail and High Rail AbrasiveJet production effective February 2024.

SYSTEMS

All production of Mid Rail and High Rail 5-Axis AbrasiveJet systems production effective February 2024. The new AbrasiveJet cutting system is rated to 90k psi and can be used with 60k and 75k psi Jet Edge systems.

DETAILS

The Permalign Arrow SL features a new AbrasiveJet Cutting Head Assembly (PN 112291) that replaces the Permalign Edge, Right Angle Cutting Heads (PN 108401 60k psi and PN 107708 75k psi). A Permalign Arrow SL Conversion Kit (PN 110883) is available for those wishing to take advantage of both the performance improvement and maintenance cost reduction. The Permalign Edge will continue to be supported in the near term and the orifice, nozzle and mixing chamber are interchangeable between the two assemblies.

BENEFIT

Our field studies have shown the new cutting head design delivers higher quality edge finish and faster water on/off cycle times. Additionally, by removing the right angle block that was subject to frequent, high pressure bursts, the innovative design has significantly extended the time between rebuilds and simplified them when required.
