PURPOSE

Jet Edge is releasing an updated low pressure poppet screw to use on Hero Series, iP series, and previous 55/60K series intensifier pumps.

SYSTEMS

All intensifier pumps that use the updated low pressure poppet screw are listed in the Low Pressure Poppet Screw #112437 Reference Chart on the following page.

DETAILS

Jet Edge is releasing a new hollow screw (#112437) that is used in most intensifier pumps. The hollow screw is backwards compatible with assemblies that used #104431 and is now capable of handling a higher torque specification, which increases the clamping force. The hollow screws also have a visibly different head style to easily differentiate between the old and new parts.

BENEFIT

With the updated fastener, we are able to increase the clamping force of the poppet assembly, leading to easier servicing without the risk of damaging the fastener or the check tube. New torque spec: 65 +/- 5 in-lbs (7.4+/- 0.6 N-m).
