The Short Stop Filter is installed at the cutting head mounting collar with the high pressure water line connecting to it. Its fine mesh screen captures contaminants before they enter and damage the waterjet’s cutting head orifice. If debris makes it to the orifice, it can damage it resulting in poor cutting performance and premature replacement costs.
